Motorola, Samsung, others named as defendants in patent infringement lawsuit

On April 22, 2010, Child Protect LLC filed a patent infringement lawsuit against 15 companies, claiming they infringed on its US Patent No. 7,532,715, entitled “Telephone call control methods,” which was issued May 12, 2009.


Named in the patent infringement lawsuit are:


• HTC America, Inc.
• LG Electronics, Inc.
• LG Electronics USA, Inc.,
• Motorola, Inc.,
• Nokia Siemens Networks US LLC
• Nokia, Inc.
• Research In Motion Corporation
• Research In Motion Limited
• Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.,
• Samsung Electronics America, Inc.
• Samsung TeleCommunications America, LLC
• Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd.
• Sanyo Electronic Device (U.S.A.), Inc.
• Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB
• Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications (USA) Inc.


Child Protect is seeking an injunction, damages, ongoing royalties, treble damages, attorneys fees, and the destruction of all potentially infringing products.
